Having our grandparents up has been really fun! I love showing them some of our favorite places and getting to share it with them. We met them at surfing and they watched me and buddy and we had a nice dinner with them but after that they didn't see us for a few days because we were in Porto.
When we were coming back from Porto we met up at Nazaré to see some big waves. Grandma came down right away because Grandpa didn't want to. He stayed closer to the top and he didn't notice that the big waves and surfers were on the other side so he stared at the wrong side the whole time. It was really cool to watch the surfers because we've been watching a documentary on Nazaré. After a Mexican dinner with them we went home in their car and said goodbye.

When we got back the next morning we walked to school together and after school we got to swim in their hotel pool and that was really fun, we played charades and tag and a peacock even came inside the pool area because the door was open. Their hotel was very nice and it was only a few houses down so we could go and swim right away. We swam in their pool three days in a row and the middle one buddy even slept over. That night was fun for me because I got my room all to myself and that's probably been one of the things I miss the most. At the end we went out for dinner, on the first night we got Indian and doner kababs then the night after that we went to a nice authentic Portuguese place with good Portuguese food. The last night we went to an Italian pizza place.
The next morning after that we got to skip school to go to Pena palace. It was really fun, we got croissants in the morning then we all took an uber up there. It was really pretty we went inside and it was very preserved you could go in all the different rooms and see what it was used for. The outside was better in my opinion because of how beautiful the castle was. We took a ton of pictures with our grandparents and doing this with them was very fun. The castle grounds were really cool so just me mom, dad and buddy decided to hike up to the tallest point in Portugal, that might have been the coolest thing that we've seen so far because you could see water on both sides of Portugal and their miles away. We hiked back down to meet them and we walked around a little bit more till we headed home. I really liked sharing that with them. (no offense to my family but its fun to share something with people other than them). Me and buddy ate lunch with them when we got back from Pena. We shopped a little after, it was nice :). Then we went swimming for the last time and went to a pizza place.

On Saturday we met up with them for the last time before they left. We were going to do a nice boat tour with them so we went to Lisbon. We didn't see them for the first part, we just walked around and then we decided to go to the actual place where the boat was via electric scooter... After 10 minutes of sitting and waiting to be able to get on we were off. I was with mom and lets just say there was a lot of yelling and we may have almost run a child over going 30 mph. We got there and grandma and grandpa were waiting for us. The boat crew told us about what we should do and the rules about the boat ride. We got the whole inflatable speedboat to our selves which was very nice. I sat next to grandma and grandpa in the first part then moved up front. It was really fun the sunset was beautiful and it was really fun with grandma and grandpa since they were leaving. Our guides were really nice and the boat ride was really really fun. It was so fast but it was nice when they stopped the boat and talked about the different things. After the boat ride we had a very nice dinner with them.

I was sad they were leaving because i really enjoyed it. We said our goodbyes and went home. We just heard back from them and they said that they had a good flight, but most importantly they had Clemmy back and she was doing well!
